Michigan Manufacturing Week, held the second week of May, is a time to spotlight the tremendous contributions manufacturers make to the state. MMA works to promote awareness of the key role manufacturing plays in Michigan’s economy through two annual events, the MMA CEO Forum and the Legislative and Executive Reception, as well as the Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award program.

To celebrate Michigan Manufacturing Week, MMA spearheads these activities:

MMA CEO Forum

The CEO Forum brings together manufacturing leaders, economists and policy experts from across the state. Several important issues and ideas are discussed.

Legislative & Executive Reception

The Legislative & Executive Reception is your opportunity to mingle with legislators and other government officials in a relaxed, celebratory setting. The Reception will be held after after the CEO Forum during Michigan Manufacturing Week.

Award Programs

Once a year, MMA recognizes exemplary manufacturers through the John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Awards. Legislators who have spearheaded initiatives to support manufacturing are also recognized by MMA during Michigan Manufacturing Week through the Legislative Awards.
